God Time

January 8, 2010

I’ve made up my mind to have,”God Time”  and in that time I am determined to not let the adversary defeat or take away that time.  Why?  I choose not to be spiritually defeated!

1 Peter 5:8-10

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

You need to conclude that I will must never accept spiritual defeat in my life!

It is in the spiritual battle that you and I have entered into when we accepted Christ into our hearts, we have an opportunity to take major steps forward in your spiritual life.

The truth of the matter is that the devil will attack you, yes.   Dah!!

“But resist him!” Is this a new concept, NNNNOOOOO!

As you do battle with him, look what God will do for you. This is where it gets very interesting.

He will “perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.” Repeat this phrase 3 times and just let it sink in for a little while.

Martin Luther once said, “Wherever the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved.”  WOW!!!  Am I a man or a mouse?  God says, “Your a man! (woman) of MINE!”

Whenever you sense that you are being attacked spiritually, remember that it is part of a much bigger spiritual battle that is being fought throughout the world for the glory of God.

You can not and do not accept defeat as inevitable, no matter how many times you have lost that battle before.

The Lord is assuring you today that He will enter into that battle as you make godly choices.  With God before me, who can be against me….!!

See you Sunday, PJR  GOD Bless!!!!  Have a victorious day!!!!!!!!!! Make some, GOD TIME!
